Mat Pilates Strength
Pilates Strength tones all of the body's core muscles as well as the whole body through targeted exercises. Pilates Strength classes challenge the mind to focus on specific muscle groups by incorporating a series of body movements to build core strength. Strong core muscles support the spine, reduce back pain, and are an integral component of athletic performance as well as every day. In these classes free weights can be used, along with yoga blocks, and pilates rings.
A challenging total body workout, fusing the disciplines of ballet, core conditioning, Pilates, and weight training into one dynamic non impact class. This class may incorporate small weights, and the body's own resistance, to perform multiple high reps of small isolated movements, creating long lean muscles, to tone and reshape the body.
